ABOUT BOBBIE

The 3rd Quarter Art refers to the time in my life in which I am able devote to my art. Something that I have loved my whole life, but never had the time to pursue. Work, children and life generally got in the way of doing what truly allows self-expression. Now that I have retired, new beginnings are possible, and its outcomes limitless. Hence the 3rd Quarter of my life is focusing on art. There is no one medium in which I focus my sole attention.

 

Every medium is different, yielding diverse results. But the goal is always the same, to elicit an emotion from the viewer. Peaceful tranquility, happiness, thoughtful reflection, evoke a memory—something with which we can connect. We all share something in common. My goal is to hear from you personally how you relate with what you see in a painting. In turn we share a common joy.
